Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic appeal of Chianti Classico with a vibrant, deep ruby hue. The nose is fresh and expressive, offering ripe red fruit, floral hints, and a lifted, inviting aromatic profile. On the palate, it is full-bodied and layered, with juicy fruit, floral nuances, and supple tannins that give the wine its smooth texture. The finish is long and well-balanced, with enough structure to suggest good short- to mid-term aging potential.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards planted at around 400 meters above sea level in Tuscany, where the altitude helps preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Harvesting is carried out with care to protect fruit quality, followed by vinification designed to highlight the natural vibrancy of Sangiovese and the distinctive character of Pugnitello. The wine then matures for approximately 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks, adding subtle complexity without masking the fruit.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile food wine that works beautifully with classic Italian dishes such as pasta with tomato-based sauces, roasted meats, grilled vegetables, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting is not essential but can help open the wine if enjoyed shortly after release.
