Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Chardonnay shows a polished, inviting profile with aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and white flowers. The bouquet opens beautifully with a little time in the glass, revealing a layered, aromatic style that feels both lifted and generous. On the palate, the wine is creamy and supple, with a balanced core of ripe fruit supported by subtle notes of toasted bread and baking spice from oak aging. The finish is smooth and harmonious, with enough freshness to keep the wine lively. While enjoyable now, it should also hold well over the next few years as the oak integrates further.

Production
This wine draws fruit from select Napa Valley sites, combining the vibrant, refined character of Carneros with the fuller, more expressive profile of Stags Leap District. The grapes are vinified with an emphasis on preserving terroir expression, then aged sur lie for 6 months in French oak barrels, with only 20% new oak used to keep the fruit in the spotlight while adding texture and subtle complexity.

Food & Serving
A natural match for roast chicken, grilled salmon, creamy pasta dishes, lobster, or lightly spiced seafood. Serve at around 14°C in large white wine glasses to allow the aromas to open up. Decanting is not necessary, though giving the wine a little time in the glass will enhance its aromatic depth.
