Sourced from a small, high-lying parcel in Savigny-les-Beaune, it offers a lot of wine for the price and reflects the kind of thoughtful, old-school craftsmanship Burgundy is known for.

Tasting Notes
Clear and bright in the glass, this wine opens with a charming nose of ripe stone fruit and melon, lifted by a delicate smoky note from the oak. On the palate it shows pleasing weight and texture, with flavors of peach, melon, and gentle toast, balanced by a harmonious, crisp finish. It is already expressive now, but should hold nicely over the next few years as the fruit and oak continue to knit together.

Production
The grapes come from a small parcel situated high in the Savigny-les-Beaune commune, where the vineyard is carefully tended throughout the year by its owner, an experienced local grower. At harvest, Remoissenet Père & Fils purchases the fruit and vinifies it with native yeast in oak barrels before aging it for just over 12 months in classic French Burgundy casks, adding finesse and a subtle touch of smoke to the wine’s ripe, savory profile.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent food wine, especially with roast chicken or pheasant, ideally served with a creamy sauce and oven-roasted root vegetables. Serve slightly chilled, around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant if you want the aromas to open up more quickly.
