Remoissenet Père & Fils Meursault Blanc 2023 is a refined expression of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated white wine appellations. It captures Meursault’s signature generosity and depth, while adding impressive precision, mineral drive, and elegance.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a brilliant, polished golden hue. The nose opens with ripe yellow fruit, subtle toasted nuts, and a clear mineral edge, framed by a faint buttery richness and a discreet hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is layered and textural, combining Meursault’s classic breadth with a firm, saline backbone. Notes of citrus, pomelo, and lemon are woven through a core of iron-like minerality and supple, creamy weight. It has the balance and structure to age gracefully over the medium to long term, gaining further complexity with time in bottle.

Production
This cuvée draws from parcels both north and south of Meursault village, blending limestone-driven sites with vineyards on clay and marl soils. The result is a harmonious balance between tension and richness, with hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes vinified and aged in a mix of 228- and 342-liter barrels, with 20-40% new oak to add subtle depth without overwhelming the wine’s terroir character.

A natural match for dishes such as roast chicken, veal in cream sauce, lobster, scallops, or mushroom risotto. Serve at 10-12°C to highlight both its freshness and texture, and consider brief decanting if opening young to let the aromatic layers fully unfold.
