Named both for “C’est Vin Rouge” and “Columbia Valley Red,” it captures the character of one of the Pacific Northwest’s most celebrated wine regions in a style that balances power with refinement.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, насыщенный ruby-black color that hints at its concentration. The nose opens with dark blackberry, cassis, and plum, layered with hints of graphite, violets, cocoa, and subtle toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is rich and densely structured, delivering waves of dark berry fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a mineral edge that adds tension and clarity. The finish is long and persistent, with the balance and depth to drink beautifully now while still offering excellent aging potential for several more years.

Production
Quilceda Creek CVR Red is crafted from carefully selected vineyards across Columbia Valley, including highly regarded sites such as Champoux, Galitzine, and Mach One. The warm, dry terroir of Washington lends ripe fruit concentration and natural structure, while the grapes are harvested with a focus on optimal ripeness and quality selection. After fermentation, the wine is matured for 20 months in 100% French oak barrels, adding complexity, polish, and subtle spice to the final blend.

This wine is a natural match for robust dishes such as grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, venison, lamb, or rich mushroom-based preparations. Serve it at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young, to allow the aromas and structure to fully unfold.
