Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear straw-yellow colour. The nose opens with delicate, fruit-driven aromas of apricot, white peach, and local citrus, lifted by subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, with a juicy flow and a clean citrus-led finish. It has the tension and brightness that make Etna whites so compelling, and while it is delightful in its youth, it should also hold a charming short-term aging potential as the texture and aromatic complexity evolve.

Made entirely from Carricante, this wine comes from the volcanic terroir of Mount Etna, where mineral-rich soils and altitude help preserve freshness and aromatics. The harvest is carried out with care to capture optimal ripeness, and the vinification is designed to highlight purity, vibrancy, and the grape’s natural expression rather than heavy oak influence.

Food & Serving
Pietradolce Etna Bianco 2025 is an excellent match for fish and shellfish, as well as light starters and first courses. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary; a short rest in the glass is usually enough to let the aromas open naturally.
