Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby color with a light violet rim. The nose is intense and классically Burgundian, with aromas of raspberry, black cherry, and a touch of liquorice. On the palate, it is direct and firm in style, with lively acidity and ripe, refined tannins shaping a wine of clarity and structure. Its mineral edge, fruit concentration, and energy give it both immediate appeal and the potential to develop gracefully over the coming years.

Production
The grapes come from south-facing slopes at around 350 meters above sea level, where thin layers of clay and limestone rest directly on Jurassic limestone. The combination of old vines, over 60 years of age, and a rugged, mineral terroir lends the wine its depth, precision, and distinct sense of place. Harvesting is done by hand, and the vinification is traditional, with a clear focus on preserving the purity of the vineyard character.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile Burgundy that pairs beautifully with roast chicken, duck, veal, mushroom dishes, and game birds, as well as earthy vegetarian cuisine. Serve it at around 15–17°C, and consider decanting briefly if opened young to allow the aromas and structure to fully unfold.
