In the glass, it shows a deep, intense ruby color. The bouquet is layered and refined, with blackcurrant, ripe cherry, dark plum, and violet, followed by cedar, tobacco, graphite, and delicate spice. On the palate, the wine combines richness and finesse beautifully. The fruit is concentrated yet impeccably pure, the tannins are silky and well integrated, and the fresh acidity keeps everything lifted and balanced. The finish is long and graceful, echoing dark berries, spice, and a polished mineral note. While already highly enjoyable, 2019 has the structure and depth to age gracefully for many years.

Pavillon Rouge 2019 is built primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. Sourced from the esteemed terroirs of Margaux in Bordeaux, the wine benefits from the estate’s rigorous selection process, with only the best lots chosen for this cuvée. Vinification follows Château Margaux’s meticulous approach, designed to preserve purity of fruit, finesse, and the hallmark texture that defines the property.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs wonderfully with roasted lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, game birds, or mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for about 1–2 hours if drinking young to help the aromatics unfold and soften the structure.
