Orto di Venezia Vino Bianco is a distinctive Venetian white made entirely from Malvasia Bianca, grown on the island of Sant'Erasmo in the Venice lagoon. It stands out for its aromatic style, refined structure, and the rare terroir it comes from — a place where traditional viticulture has been carefully revived and preserved.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, hinting at its freshness and coastal character. The nose is expressive and layered, with tropical fruit, orange blossom, and a subtle touch of white pepper. On the palate, it is enveloping yet precise, with a refined texture, a persistent finish, and a savory sense of place that reflects its lagoon origin. It is best enjoyed while youthful for its vivid aromatics, though its structure gives it enough depth to develop gracefully over a few years.

Production
This wine comes from Sant'Erasmo, an island in the Venetian lagoon known for its unique maritime climate, saline influence, and sandy soils. The project behind Orto di Venezia was created to bring back historic vineyard practices, using traditional methods to cultivate vines in this singular environment. Made from 100% Malvasia Bianca and crafted as a focused aromatic white, the wine expresses both the character of the grape and the distinct identity of its terroir.

A great match for seafood, shellfish, grilled prawns, risotto alla veneziana, and lightly spiced Asian dishes that echo its aromatic profile. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and no decanting is necessary — just open and enjoy its freshness and perfume.
