Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, almost inky ruby color with vibrant garnet reflections. The nose is layered and expressive, with dark fruit at the forefront—blackberry, crushed plum, and ripe cassis—followed by notes of spice, leather, and sweet tobacco.

Production
Produced in Bolgheri, along the Tuscan coast, Ornellaia benefits from a terroir shaped by maritime influence, warm Mediterranean sunshine, and well-draining soils that help preserve freshness and structure. The 2019 blend is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, vinified with a focus on ripeness, balance, and elegant extraction to maintain both power and refinement.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for premium grilled or roasted meats, such as beef, lamb, or game, as well as slow-cooked dishes and truffle-based preparations. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours to allow the aromatics and structure to open fully.
