Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale ruby color with garnet reflections, a sign of both its finesse and its evolving complexity. The bouquet opens with spicy notes, liquorice, wild rose, flowers, and dried fruit, then develops beautifully with time in the glass into more layered tertiary aromas. The palate is lively and fresh, with soft but still youthful tannins, giving the wine structure and elegance in equal measure. Harmonious and well-balanced, it has the concentration and backbone to age gracefully, revealing even more nuance over time.

Production
This Etna Rosso comes from old vines grown on the volcanic soils of Sicily’s Mount Etna, a terroir known for its minerality, altitude, and dramatic temperature shifts. The grapes are carefully harvested to preserve freshness and aromatic precision, then vinified to highlight the purity of fruit, finesse, and the distinctive volcanic character of the site.

A great match for roasted lamb, grilled pork, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses, and Sicilian-inspired cuisine with herbs and tomato-based sauces. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for about 30–60 minutes if drinking young to help the aromas open fully.
