Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense, deeply colored hue that hints at its richness and concentration. The bouquet is generous and layered, with clear notes of dried fruit, ripe citrus peel, honeyed accents, and a distinctly aromatic Mediterranean character. On the palate, it is smooth, plush, and enveloping, with a velvety texture and a lingering sweetness that feels both generous and refined. The finish is long and fragrant, carrying through the dried-fruit notes and the characteristic floral-spicy lift of Zibibbo. Production
This wine comes from Sicily, where warm sunshine and a dry Mediterranean climate help Zibibbo develop its signature aromatic intensity. The grapes are left to hang on the vine for an extended period, allowing them to reach a high level of ripeness and concentration before harvest. After picking, vinification is carried out to preserve the grape’s natural fragrance while building the wine’s rich, sweet, fortified style.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, to keep the sweetness fresh and the aromas lifted. It pairs beautifully with almond-based pastries, dried fruit desserts, blue cheese, biscotti, or simply as a contemplative after-dinner wine; decanting is not necessary, though opening it a little before serving can help the aromas unfold.
