Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, with the depth and maturity you would expect from a well-aged 2009 vintage. The nose is likely to show ripe dark fruit alongside notes of oak, spice, and subtle earthy complexity, while the palate should be full-bodied and structured, with Tempranillo’s signature balance of power and freshness. With time in bottle, this wine is built to develop even more nuance and secondary aromas, making its aging potential one of its key strengths.

Production
Sourced from Ribera del Duero, where the continental climate and varied soils help produce concentrated Tempranillo with natural structure and freshness. The vineyards are carefully green-harvested to limit yields and ensure only the best clusters remain, while harvesting is done by hand to preserve fruit quality before it reaches the winery. Fermentation and maceration take place in French oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months of oak aging before bottling.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roasted lamb, grilled beef, game dishes, braised meats, and mature hard cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and if possible, decant it for 1–2 hours to allow the wine to open and show its full aromatic complexity.

Their goal was to create high-quality, exclusive wines, inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux but shaped by Spanish conditions. Today, Mirat wines are known for their quality, aging potential, and careful craftsmanship in Ribera del Duero.
