Description

Margaux 2010 is a beautifully poised first-growth Bordeaux from one of the most celebrated names in the Médoc. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it combines precision, elegance and depth in a style that has long defined the Margaux appellation.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep garnet color with youthful intensity for its age. The nose is refined and layered, with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violet and subtle hints of tobacco and spice. The palate is silky yet structured, delivering concentrated dark fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long, graceful finish. The 2010 vintage brings impressive freshness and balance, giving the wine excellent aging potential; it can be enjoyed now with decanting, but will continue to evolve beautifully over many years.

Production
Sourced from the exceptional terroir of Margaux in Bordeaux, the wine benefits from gravelly soils that naturally favor Cabernet Sauvignon while allowing other Bordeaux varieties to add complexity and finesse. Harvesting is typically carried out plot by plot to preserve precision and fruit quality, followed by careful vinification designed to emphasize purity, structure and aromatic detail.

Food & Serving
This is a classic match for prime rib, entrecôte, lamb, duck breast, roasted game, or truffle-infused dishes. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if opened now to allow the wine to fully раскрыть its aromatics and soften its tannins.

Producer
Château Margaux is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic estates and one of the original First Growths from the 1855 Classification. Renowned for producing wines of exceptional elegance, longevity and finesse, it holds a revered place in the history of Bordeaux and has set a benchmark for Margaux wines worldwide for generations.
