Marcarini Barolo Brunate is a classic expression of Barolo from one of the most respected crus in the Langhe. Made from 100% Nebbiolo and crafted in the traditional Piedmontese style, it combines depth, elegance, and the unmistakable character that has made Brunate a historic name in the region.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a garnet-red color with ruby reflections, signaling both youth and structure. The bouquet is complex and persistent, unfolding with notes of vanilla, sweet spices, tobacco, mountain herbs, and undergrowth. On the palate, it is noble and powerful yet velvety, with a warm, authoritative profile and impressive length on the finish. The wine’s concentration and structure suggest excellent aging potential, allowing its aromatic layers and tannins to continue evolving beautifully over time.

Production
The grapes come from the renowned Brunate cru in the Langhe, a historic hillside site celebrated for producing wines of great depth and finesse. Marcarini follows a strict traditional approach, with tightly controlled fermentations and extended skin maceration for at least four weeks, followed by a minimum of two years’ maturation in medium-sized oak casks.

This Barolo is a superb match for rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, game, truffle risotto, roasted lamb, and mature hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours to allow its aromas and structure to open fully.
