Crafted by one of Champagne’s most respected producers, it reflects a modern interpretation of classic style, with a high proportion of Chardonnay lending brightness and finesse to the blend.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale golden color with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is layered and inviting, opening with white flowers, citrus peel, green apple, and a delicate hint of toasted nuts. The palate is vibrant and beautifully balanced, combining fresh acidity, ripe fruit, and a subtle creamy texture. There’s a clean, harmonious finish with impressive length, and the wine should continue to gain complexity over the next few years, though it is already highly enjoyable now.

Production
Collection 246 is built around the 2021 base vintage, which accounts for 55% of the blend, complemented by 35% reserve wines and 10% wine aged in oak. For this release, the cellar master chose to emphasize Chardonnay, which makes up 54% of the final cuvée. The wine spent nearly four years on lees before disgorgement and was finished with a dosage of 7 g/L, helping to preserve freshness while adding a touch of roundness and balance.

Food & Serving
This Champagne is an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, sushi, poultry, or light creamy dishes, and it also works beautifully as an aperitif. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended.
