Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby-garnet colour with excellent intensity. The nose is expressive and layered, with dark cassis, blackberry, plum, cedar, graphite, violet, and subtle spice notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, offering ripe black fruit, finely grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, elegant finish. The 2015 vintage has the concentration and balance for impressive ageing potential. While already accessible with aeration, it should continue to evolve beautifully over the coming years, developing more savoury, earthy, and tobacco-driven complexity with time in bottle.
