Leonardo da Vinci Vitruviano Chianti 2023 is a refined Chianti DOCG that celebrates both Tuscany’s winemaking heritage and the creative genius of Leonardo da Vinci. Made primarily from Sangiovese with a touch of Merlot, it offers the classic charm of Chianti with a smoother, more polished edge.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the inviting ruby-red tones typical of youthful Chianti. The bouquet is beautifully intense and persistent, led by bright cherry fruit and lifted by subtle spicy notes, especially black pepper. On the palate, it is decisive and well-structured, with clearly defined tannins that remain supple rather than drying. The wine feels balanced and refined, with a pleasingly long finish and enough freshness and structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

This Chianti DOCG is produced in Tuscany by Cantine Leonardo da Vinci, a cooperative deeply rooted in the region’s winemaking tradition. The blend is dominated by Sangiovese, supported by Merlot for added softness and roundness, and the result is a wine that reflects both the character of the Tuscan terroir and a careful, modern approach to vinification.

Enjoy this Chianti with classic Italian dishes such as pasta with tomato-based sauces, grilled meats, roasted chicken, or aged pecorino. Serve at around 16–18°C, and a short decant is optional if you’d like to open up the aromatics a little more.
