Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow with a refined, persistent mousse, this Franciacorta shows a bright and polished appearance in the glass. On the nose, expect delicate citrus, green apple, white flowers, and subtle hints of brioche and pastry from extended lees aging. The palate is crisp and precise, with a creamy texture balanced by lively acidity and a clean mineral line. Notes of ripe orchard fruit, lemon zest, and toasted nuances lead to a long, elegant finish. Thanks to its structure and magnum format, it has excellent aging potential and can continue to develop gracefully over time.

Production
This wine comes from the Santissima di Cussago hillside in the Brescia area, one of the most renowned sites in Franciacorta, where the terroir is especially suited to Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested from a single vineyard and the wine undergoes 3 years of aging on the lees, a key part of the traditional method that builds complexity, texture, and aromatic depth.

Ideal with oysters, seafood tartare, delicate shellfish, sushi, or refined appetizers such as parmesan crisps and light canapés. Serve chilled at 6-8°C, and while decanting is not recommended, allowing the wine a few minutes in the glass will help it open beautifully.
