La Forchetiere Val de Loire Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh and characterful Loire white, offering the classic brightness and mineral drive that Sauvignon Blanc lovers expect. Produced on a 50-hectare estate in the Loire Valley, it combines floral lift, crisp freshness, and a distinctly elegant regional signature.

Tasting Notes
Pale yellow in the glass with green reflections, this wine opens with floral aromas and a clear mineral edge. On the palate it is dry and beautifully fresh, with notes of white fruit that keep the profile lively and easy to enjoy. Its balance of fruit, acidity, and minerality gives it a clean, precise finish. Best enjoyed young while its freshness is at its most expressive, though it should hold nicely over the next few years.

Production
La Forchetiere’s vineyards are rooted in the Loire Valley, with the château situated in the Vendée region overlooking the Boulogne Valley. The estate spans two districts, Melon and Folle Blanche, and the vines are around 35 years old, contributing depth and concentration to the wine. Produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine reflects the cool-climate character and mineral tension of its terroir.

Food & Serving
This Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with seafood, shellfish, goat cheese, fresh salads, and light poultry dishes. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C; decanting is not necessary.

With its château in Vendée and a long-established vineyard base, the producer is closely tied to the region’s white wine tradition and the fresh, expressive style for which the Loire is known.
