Jules Bertier Méthode Traditionnelle Première Cuvée is a classic Loire sparkling wine crafted with the know-how of a family estate that has been making bubbles since 1859. It offers the charm of traditional bottle fermentation and the finesse that comes from extended rest in cool underground cellars, giving it a refined, well-balanced style.

Tasting Notes
Expect a bright, lively mousse with a pale straw color and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it should show fresh orchard fruit, citrus, and subtle bakery notes from its time on the lees, with a clean mineral lift typical of Loire sparkling wines. The palate is usually fresh and elegant, with crisp acidity, delicate fruit, and a gentle creamy texture that carries through to a refreshing finish. As a non-vintage traditional-method sparkling wine, it is made for immediate enjoyment, though it will hold nicely for a short period after purchase if stored properly.

Production
Produced in the Loire Valley, this cuvée benefits from the region’s cool climate and limestone-rich terroir, which help preserve freshness and precision. The wine is made using the traditional method and then aged for several months in cool, dark underground caves, allowing the bubbles to integrate and the wine to develop greater complexity before release.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at 6–8°C. It pairs beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, goat cheese, light seafood dishes, and can also work nicely as an aperitif. Decanting is not recommended for sparkling wine.
