Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, it opens with aromas of ripe citrus, baked pear, toasted almonds, and a subtle brioche note. The palate is supple and layered, with a broad, rounded mouthfeel balanced by fresh acidity and a chalky, mineral backbone that keeps the wine lively and focused. The 2022 vintage shows excellent harmony between richness and tension, giving the wine immediate appeal while also suggesting strong mid-term aging potential. With time in bottle, the fruit will deepen and the nutty, honeyed, and mineral notes are likely to become even more complex.

Production
The grapes come from Les Charmes, a prized Meursault Premier Cru vineyard known for its deep clay-rich soils that bring power, texture, and complexity to Chardonnay. The fruit is harvested by hand and vinified with a gentle touch, including spontaneous fermentation and maturation in oak barrels, about 30% of which are new. No bâtonnage or filtration is used at bottling, helping preserve freshness, texture, and the purity of the terroir.

Food & Serving
This is a natural match for refined dishes such as roast chicken, veal in a cream sauce, lobster, scallops, or mushroom risotto. It is best served at around 10–12°C, and while decanting is not essential, a short aeration can help open the wine if enjoyed in its youth.
