Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a light to medium ruby color with a clear, youthful brightness. The nose opens with strawberries and rhubarb, followed by a gentle herbal edge that adds lift and definition. On the palate, the wine is soft and fruit-driven, with lively acidity providing shape and freshness through the finish. It is designed for early enjoyment rather than long cellaring, though it can hold nicely over the next few years while maintaining its freshness.

This Pinot Noir comes from the inner Loire, where J. de Villebois works with fruit selected to preserve the grape’s purity and finesse. The grapes are handled with care and fermented in neutral barrels, a choice that keeps oak influence to a minimum and allows the varietal character and regional expression to remain at the forefront.

Food & Serving
A versatile red that pairs well with roast chicken, turkey, veal, charcuterie, or salmon, as well as other light meat dishes. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 14–16°C, to emphasize its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is not necessary, though a short breathing time in the glass can help open the wine further.
