Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a vibrant, clear ruby color. The nose is full of forest strawberries, ripe cherries, raspberries, and a subtle bitter-sweet cranberry edge, layered with a gentle touch of pepper and baking spices. The palate is silky and supple, with very soft tannins and a lively, refreshing acidity that keeps the wine moving beautifully. It is fruit-driven, smooth, and thirst-quenching, with enough structure to remain enjoyable over the next few years, though it is made to charm in its youth.

Production
This Spätburgunder comes from the Pfalz, a warm and generous German wine region well suited to Pinot Noir, where ripe fruit and freshness can come together naturally. The wine is given a restrained élevage in used barrique barrels, which polishes the texture without adding overt oak influence and helps preserve the wine’s bright, expressive fruit character.

Food & Serving
A versatile red for the table, it works especially well with roast chicken, duck, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, veal, or charcuterie. Serve slightly chilled, around 14–16°C, and decanting is optional but can help open the aromatics if you want to enjoy it at its most expressive.
