Haderburg Blauburgunder Hausmannhof is an elegant, organically farmed Pinot Noir from Alto Adige, showing the finesse and mountain freshness that have made this region so respected for cool-climate red wines. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Salorno, it combines purity of fruit with subtle oak influence and a distinctly refined Alpine character.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, polished red-fruit profile with depth and clarity, leaning into notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and blueberry. With air, more layered nuances emerge: liquorice, vanilla, and a touch of toasted bitter orange add complexity without overshadowing the varietal expression. The palate is full and rounded, yet held together by lively freshness and a well-balanced structure. Fruit and richness are in harmony, while the 12 months in used barrels bring texture rather than overt oak, suggesting very good drinking now with the potential to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Production
This Pinot Noir comes from vineyards planted between 350 and 550 meters above sea level on limestone and clay soils, a combination that helps give the wine both precision and depth. The grapes are organically grown and harvested with care, then vinified to preserve the delicacy and aromatic expression typical of Pinot Noir, before spending 12 months in used casks to add complexity and gentle structure.

Food & Serving
A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with roast poultry, duck, mushroom risotto, veal, and lighter game dishes, as well as aged semi-hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
