Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear ruby-red color with youthful brightness. The nose is expressive and layered, with aromas of ripe red berries, violets, and a subtle thread of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet graceful, with silk-like tannins, lively acidity, and a long, composed finish. While already enjoyable with a short period of aeration, it has excellent aging potential and should develop greater complexity over time, as Barolo often does.

Production
This wine comes from the Gianetto vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba, an area known for producing Barolo with structure, depth, and clear mineral tension. The special soils of the site help shape the wine’s finesse and backbone. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape’s pure fruit character, followed by aging in large, old Slavonian oak casks. This traditional approach supports a gradual evolution while keeping the wine balanced and expressive of its origin.

It also pairs beautifully with grilled red meats and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for about 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and tannins to open fully.
