The Flora Pinot Bianco Riserva is sourced from selected high-altitude vineyards in Alto Adige’s renowned Girlan area, where cool nights, significant day–night temperature shifts and well-drained, calcareous and morainic soils give Pinot Bianco its hallmark finesse and minerality. Grapes are typically harvested by hand to allow strict selection of the healthiest, ripest clusters. In the cellar, the must is gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures, often partly in large oak or tonneaux and partly in stainless steel, to preserve freshness while adding subtle structure. Extended lees aging with periodic bâtonnage enhances texture, complexity and aromatic depth, giving the wine its characteristic combination of tension and creaminess that defines the Riserva style.
