On the palate, it is supple and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, bright freshness, and a balanced core of black cherry, cassis, and savoury herbal notes. Ca’Marcanda Promis is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, sourced from vineyards in Tuscany’s coastal-influenced zone rather than traditional Piedmont terroir. The warmer climate and well-drained soils help produce ripe, concentrated fruit with freshness and aromatic lift. Vinification is carried out with the careful, exacting approach associated with Gaja, aiming to preserve purity of fruit, balance, and smooth texture through controlled fermentation and ageing in oak.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with grilled beef, roast lamb, veal, rich mushroom dishes, and tomato-based pasta dishes. It also works well with aged hard cheeses and Mediterranean fare. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for 30–60 minutes if serving young to allow the aromatics and structure to open up.
