Fattoria Montellori Toscana Dicatum 2018 is a pure Sangiovese from Tuscany that showcases the grape’s classic charm with a polished, approachable style. Made in the Toscana IGT, it combines red-fruit purity with balsamic nuance and the structure that has long made Sangiovese one of Italy’s most celebrated varieties.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, this wine opens with aromas of red berries and ripe cherry, followed by subtle balsamic notes that add lift and complexity. On the palate, it is fresh and fruit-driven, with soft, well-balanced tannins and a satisfying sense of harmony. The clay-rich soils help give the wine both vibrancy and breadth, supporting its lively acidity and generous mid-palate. While already very approachable, it should also hold up well over the next few years as its flavours knit together further.

Made from 100% Sangiovese, this wine comes from clay-rich soils that naturally contribute both freshness and a more rounded texture. The terroir provides the balance of acidity and fullness that is especially important for expressing Sangiovese’s signature profile in Tuscany.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile red that pairs well with grilled meats, roast chicken, pasta with tomato-based sauces, and aged cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed soon after opening.
