The Puntay range from Erste e Neue is sourced from select vineyard sites in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, where steep, well-exposed slopes benefit from significant day–night temperature swings. The soils are typically a mix of morainic deposits, limestone, and porphyry, contributing both minerality and aromatic precision to Traminer Aromatico. Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve the delicate, volatile aromatics that define Gewürztraminer. After a gentle pressing, the must is cooled and fermented at controlled low temperatures in stainless steel to lock in freshness and primary fruit character. The wine then rests on fine lees for a period, adding texture, complexity, and a subtle creaminess without overshadowing the vibrant aromatic profile.
