Tasting Notes
Deep, almost opaque ruby in the glass, this wine shows impressive intensity and purity. The nose is layered and classic Left Bank Bordeaux, with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite, and subtle floral and spice notes unfolding over time. On the palate, it is full-bodied and highly structured, combining ripe dark fruit with firm, polished tannins, lively freshness, and a long, mineral finish. It has the concentration and backbone to age gracefully for many years, with much of its complexity still developing.

Production
Sourced from the gravelly soils of Saint-Julien, the terroir lends natural drainage, finesse, and a distinctive mineral edge to the wine. The grapes are typically harvested by hand and vinified with a focus on precision, extraction, and preserving the purity of fruit, followed by maturation in French oak to add complexity and frame without overshadowing the wine’s character.

This wine pairs beautifully with classic dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, or mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for several hours if opening young to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open up.
