Donnafugata Sicilia Damarino 2025 is a fresh, expressive Sicilian white that captures the island’s bright, coastal character in every glass. Made from a blend of Inzolia, Catarratto Bianco Lucido, Grecanico Dorato, and Grillo, it stands out not only for its easy elegance and aromatic charm, but also for its pioneering use of the Nomacorc Ocean closure made from recycled plastic collected in coastal areas—a small but meaningful step toward protecting the seas.

Tasting Notes
Damarino opens with a luminous straw-yellow color and a lively, inviting aromatic profile. The nose is full of citrus, ripe peach, and white flowers, with the kind of freshness that immediately suggests a Mediterranean white wine made for immediate enjoyment. On the palate, it is light-footed, crisp, and fragrant, with clean fruit flavors and a soft, refreshing finish. Its balance of brightness and delicacy makes it especially appealing young, when its floral and citrus-driven character is at its most vibrant.

Production

Damarino is a versatile partner for light Mediterranean dishes, seafood, shellfish, grilled vegetables, fresh salads, sushi, and mild cheeses. Serve it well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
