Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Lugana shows a pale straw-yellow color with delicate green reflections, signaling its youthful vibrancy. The nose is clean and expressive, with notes of white peach, green apple and pear layered over citrus zest, wild herbs and a distinct mineral hint reminiscent of wet stone and lake breeze. On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet remarkably fresh, with a lively, mouthwatering acidity that frames flavors of stone fruit, lemon, and subtle floral tones. A gentle almond nuance and saline edge appear on the finish, adding complexity and length. Production
The grapes for Lugana Pruviniano 2024 come from vineyards in the Lugana DOC near Lake Garda, where the microclimate is moderated by the lake and the soils are rich in clay, limestone and minerals. These conditions lend both freshness and a distinct mineral backbone to the wine. The Trebbiano (locally known as Turbiana) is typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to preserve aromatic intensity and acidity. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to highlight purity of fruit and terroir. The wine is then aged briefly on fine lees, adding texture and subtle complexity without overshadowing its bright, mineral-driven profile.

This Lugana is a natural partner for seafood and delicate dishes: think grilled lake fish, shrimp, seared scallops, sushi and sashimi, or lemony seafood pasta. It also pairs beautifully with risotto (especially with asparagus or herbs), light vegetable dishes, fresh goat cheese and mild soft cheeses. Serve well-chilled at around 8–10°C to emphasize its freshness and aromatic lift.
