Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the golden depth and concentration you’d expect from mature Meursault, with a bouquet that is both floral and intensely layered. Aromas of apricot, peach, golden apple, acacia blossom, toasted oats, hazelnut, fresh bread, crushed limestone, and caramelized butter unfold with subtle notes of flint and smoke. On the palate, it is rich and substantial, almost creamy in texture, yet lifted by a vibrant, well-defined acidity that keeps everything focused and lively. The flavor profile moves through ripe stone fruit, white minerals, citrus peel, vanilla, blossom honey, and whipped butter, ending in a long, powerful finish that remains crisp and energetic. This is a wine with serious aging potential: while already expressive, it should develop further complexity and greater harmony with time in bottle.

Production
The fruit for this wine comes from several parcels within Meursault, all planted with vines that are at least 50 years old, giving naturally low yields and concentrated fruit. Harvest is done entirely by hand, and fermentation takes place in oak barrels, with no more than 30% new oak used to preserve balance and site expression. The wine then spends 12 months on its lees before being assembled into a single barrel for a final 16–18 months of maturation.

Food & Serving
This Meursault is a natural match for rich seafood dishes such as lobster, scallops, turbot, or sole with beurre blanc, as well as roast chicken, veal, and creamy mushroom dishes. It is best served around 10–12°C, and while decanting is not strictly necessary, a brief decant can help open up its layered aromas if enjoyed young.
