Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright golden hue with the sheen and depth expected from a well-made Burgundy Chardonnay. The nose is generous and layered, opening with ripe apple, pear, and a hint of melon, followed by notes of citrus, white flowers, butter, nuts, and a subtle mineral edge. On the palate, the wine is supple and rounded, with a creamy, mouth-filling texture balanced by freshness and elegance. The oak is well integrated, adding gentle spice and richness without overwhelming the fruit. It has the structure to develop further in bottle over the next few years, though it is already very inviting now.

Rully sits in the Côte Chalonnaise, a Burgundian subregion known for producing high-quality white wines from Chardonnay, with terroirs that can rival more famous neighboring appellations. Les Agnieres is crafted with the careful hand of the Roux brothers, whose precise winemaking highlights both the ripeness and finesse of the site. The wine is matured for 12 to 14 months in barrique, with around 10 to 15% new oak, adding texture and complexity while preserving balance and clarity.
