Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a lively, fruit-forward profile with plenty of energy and freshness. Aromas of ripe plums, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and wild strawberries rise from the glass, supported by a raw, stony minerality that adds tension and definition. On the palate, the wine is juicy and expressive, with layers of ripe red and dark berries wrapped around a structured, mineral core. The combination of mature vines and younger parcels brings both concentration and vibrancy, suggesting good development potential over the next several years while remaining enjoyable in its youth.

Production
Clos de la Marche is a 3.48-hectare monopole vineyard under Domaine Mia’s exclusive control, located in Mercurey in Burgundy. The site takes its name from a limestone outcrop pushed up from the subsoil through tectonic movement, a geological feature that contributes to the wine’s firm structure and mineral character. The vineyard combines approximately 60-year-old vines with around 1.5 hectares of younger replanted vines, creating a blend of depth, concentration, and freshness in the finished wine.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted duck, chicken with mushroom sauce, pork tenderloin, game birds, or earthy vegetarian dishes such as mushroom risotto. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider a short decant if opening young to allow the aromas to open fully.
