Tasting Notes
Pale and bright in the glass, the wine immediately shows its Sancerre signature through a smoky, stony mineral edge. The nose is layered with flint, fresh apricot, white peach, melon, lemon, lime, and a subtle hint of freshly cut grass, all presented with a refined, clean style rather than overt herbal intensity. On the palate, it is generous yet beautifully lifted, combining citrus-driven fruit with a saline mineral note and a crisp, well-defined acidity that gives the wine shape and length. The finish is dry, precise, and elegant, and while it is delicious now, the structure suggests it will hold well over the next few years.

Production
The wine comes from Sauvignon Blanc vines with an average age of around 30 years, planted in the limestone- and flint-rich terroir of Verdigny in the Loire Valley. The vineyards are farmed with sustainable, nature-conscious practices that support biodiversity and aim to preserve the natural balance of the soil, helping the grapes develop concentration, clarity, and a strong sense of place. Vinification is carried out to preserve freshness, texture, and the pure expression of the terroir.

A classic match for goat cheese, oysters, shellfish, grilled white fish, and light poultry dishes, as well as fresh salads and vegetable-based starters. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to highlight the wine’s vibrancy and mineral drive, and decanting is not necessary.
