Tasting Notes
In the glass, this 2017 Clos de la Bussière presents a refined, translucent ruby hue. The nose opens with dark berries, forest floor, and subtle sous-bois, lifted by a discreet herbal note that adds freshness and complexity. On the palate, it is balanced and graceful, with a fine bead of acidity, gentle grip, and delicately shaped tannins. There is a lovely saline edge on the finish, giving the wine a dry, open, and moreish character. It is already highly expressive, though it will continue to gain cohesion with a little more time in bottle.
