Domaine Georges Roumier works with low yields and careful vineyard husbandry, following a thoughtful, minimally interventionist approach to preserve terroir character. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, sorted rigorously, then vinified with gentle extraction to retain finesse and aromatic purity. Elevage typically takes place in French oak barrels, with a measured proportion of new oak, allowing the wine to gain texture and complexity without overwhelming its precision and minerality.
