Tasting Notes

Production
The Viognier grapes for 'La Vieille Maison' are hand-harvested and carefully sorted to preserve quality and purity. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks with native yeasts, helping to retain the wine’s aromatic character and sense of place. The wine is then aged for 12 months in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel, adding texture and complexity while maintaining freshness.

This Condrieu pairs beautifully with scallops, lobster, grilled prawns, roast chicken, or creamy cheeses. Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider brief decanting if you want to open up its aromatic profile further.
