Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, polished appearance that hints at its depth and concentration. The nose opens with ripe apple, white peach, passion fruit, and floral notes, lifted by touches of honey and toasted hazelnut that add warmth and complexity. The palate is dense and almost full-bodied, yet kept beautifully in check by a well-integrated acidity. Exotic fruit, citrus, apricot, and subtle spice unfold over a distinctly chalky mineral core, giving the wine focus and direction. The finish is long, firm, and balanced, with impressive intensity and the structure to age gracefully for many years, even decades.

Les Referts sits at the base of the Puligny-Montrachet slope, where clay-rich soils bring a more generous, textured expression to Chardonnay while preserving the vineyard’s hallmark mineral tension.
