In the glass, it is dark and concentrated, with a dense ruby-to-garnet core that hints at the wine’s power. The nose opens with ripe black cherries, dark currants, cracked pepper, charcuterie, and a floral, incense-like smokiness that adds lift and complexity. The palate is full-bodied and sumptuous, with a broad, layered texture, ripe tannins, and impressive depth. There is both generosity and precision here, leading into a long, resonant finish. While already expressive, this wine has the structure and concentration to evolve beautifully over time, gaining even more nuance with extended cellaring.

Made in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the southern Rhône, the wine draws its character from the region’s sun-drenched terroir, galets roulés, and warm, dry climate, which help achieve full ripeness and concentration. The blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah reflects the estate’s traditional approach, with careful harvesting and vinification designed to preserve purity, depth, and the wine’s signature aromatic intensity.
