Domaine des Petits Champs Lins Meursault 2023 is a classic, elegant expression of one of Burgundy’s most celebrated white wine appellations. Made from carefully selected Chardonnay parcels in Meursault, it captures the richness, minerality, and refinement that have made this village famous for generations.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a brilliant pale golden color with a graceful, subtle viscosity. The nose is layered and refined, opening with white flowers, citrus zest, green apple, and ripe pear, then unfolding into hints of honey, toasted almonds, and a gentle touch of butter from oak aging. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and beautifully structured, balancing creamy texture with bright, refreshing acidity. Flavors of stone fruit, candied lemon, and a whisper of brioche lead into a long, mineral finish with a delicate saline edge. It has excellent aging potential and should develop added complexity over the next several years.

Production
The grapes come from carefully chosen parcels in Meursault, where the limestone-rich soils and cool Burgundy climate lend the wine its signature tension, depth, and minerality. The harvest is carried out by hand to ensure only healthy, fully ripe fruit is selected, and the wine is vinified gently to preserve its natural purity and freshness. After pressing, fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures, followed by maturation in French oak barrels, with a portion of new oak used to add structure and complexity without overshadowing the fruit-driven character of the wine.

Food & Serving
This Meursault pairs wonderfully with butter-poached turbot, seared scallops, chicken in a creamy sauce, or mature cheeses such as Comté and Gruyère. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider decanting for 20–30 minutes if you want to let its aromas open up further.
