Sourced from a small 2.5-hectare parcel just outside Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it reflects the pedigree of one of the region’s respected producers while delivering outstanding value and immediate charm.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, this wine opens with expressive aromas of blackberries, plums, and freshly ground black pepper, layered with a subtle Mediterranean spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with ripe dark fruit, lively acidity, and a clean, satisfying finish that keeps the wine feeling balanced and fresh. The blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre gives the wine both warmth and structure, with the Grenache providing supple fruit, the Syrah adding peppery intensity, and the Mourvèdre lending depth. It is already very approachable, though it should hold well over the next few years as the fruit and spice develop further.

Production
The grapes come from sandy soils on a parcel planted with vines averaging 35 years of age, just outside the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The site benefits from the warmth and character of the Southern Rhône terroir, and the fruit is harvested by hand before being fully destemmed. Fermentation and ageing take place in the estate’s cellars, helping preserve the wine’s purity and focused fruit expression.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for veal, beef, grilled lamb, roast poultry, and herb-driven Mediterranean dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider a short decant of 30 minutes if drinking young to allow the aromas to open fully.
