Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, translucent ruby color typical of fine Bourgogne Pinot Noir. The nose is fresh and inviting, with lifted aromas of red berries at the forefront, followed by earthy undertones and a subtle spicy edge. On the palate, it is refined and well-balanced, with a direct, transparent style that lets the terroir speak clearly; the wine feels supple, graceful, and easy to enjoy while still showing good structure. The 2019 vintage should drink very well now and has the balance to evolve nicely over the next few years.

Domaine Chevigny-Rousseau is based in Vosne-Romanée and has been a family estate since 1947. The vineyards are spread across some of Burgundy’s most prized parcels, giving the wine access to exceptional limestone and clay-driven terroir that naturally suits Pinot Noir. The result is a wine that emphasizes clarity, finesse, and a true sense of place; 100% Pinot Noir.

Food & Serving
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir is an excellent match for roast chicken, duck breast, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, or soft cheeses such as Brie and Époisses. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 15–16°C, and decanting is optional but can help open the wine if enjoyed young.
