Description

Deutz William Deutz 2014 is a refined prestige Champagne presented in an elegant gift box, made to showcase the house’s signature style of precision, depth, and finesse. Crafted in one of Champagne’s most respected houses, it reflects both the character of a strong vintage and the heritage of Deutz’s long-standing savoir-faire.

Tasting Notes
The wine typically shows a luminous pale gold color with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, expect a layered bouquet of citrus zest, white flowers, fresh brioche, toasted almond, and subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it is usually elegant and tightly structured, balancing bright freshness with a creamy texture and a long, chalk-driven finish. The 2014 vintage suggests excellent aging potential, with the ability to develop even greater complexity over time while remaining beautifully poised.

Production
Sourced from Champagne, where cool climatic conditions and chalk-rich soils help preserve acidity and precision, this cuvée is produced with the meticulous approach associated with Deutz. The vintage character points to selective harvesting at optimal ripeness and careful vinification to preserve purity, finesse, and the wine’s fine mousse.

Food & Serving
This Champagne pairs beautifully with oysters, lobster, scallops, sushi, roast chicken, and truffle dishes, as well as hard aged cheeses. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended for Champagne; instead, allow it a few minutes in the glass to fully open.

Producer
Founded in 1838 in Aÿ, Deutz is one of Champagne’s classic houses and is known for producing elegant, finely balanced wines with a strong emphasis on finesse and structure. Over the years, it has earned a reputation for consistency and quality, making it a respected name among premium Champagne producers.
