These conditions provide excellent natural freshness and help preserve the vibrant aromatics that define this wine. Grapes are generally harvested by hand to ensure optimal ripeness and careful bunch selection, with an emphasis on purity of fruit rather than sheer concentration. In the cellar, the wine is vinified with a gentle extraction regime to keep tannins soft and fine, and oak influence—if used—is applied with a light touch to avoid overshadowing the red-fruited, floral character. The result is a polished, delicately structured red blend that captures Stellenbosch’s quality in a more easygoing style.
