Tasting Notes
In the glass, Duel 2020 shows a deep, concentrated color that hints at its richness and intensity. The nose opens with ripe blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by floral notes of violet, savory spice, fresh-sawn oak, sweet tobacco, and baking spices. On the palate, it is generous and muscular, with dark berry fruit leading the way and a spicy, oak-kissed framework underneath. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and depth, while the Syrah/Shiraz adds plush fruit, peppery nuance, and a touch of exotic spice.
