Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby colour with youthful purple highlights. The nose leans toward blackcurrant, dark cherry, violet, cedar, and subtle graphite, with a refined mineral edge that reflects its Saint-Estèphe origins. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with ripe dark fruit, polished tannins, and a fresh, precise finish. The balance of concentration and elegance suggests good ageing potential, with the wine likely to develop gracefully over the next 8–15 years, depending on storage and bottle evolution.

Production
Dame de Montrose comes from the gravely, clay-rich soils of Saint-Estèphe, where the proximity to the Gironde helps moderate temperatures and support slow, even ripening. The fruit is harvested by hand and carefully selected before vinification, allowing the estate to preserve purity and structure while shaping a more accessible cuvée than the grand vin.
