Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep, vibrant ruby hue with excellent concentration. The bouquet is generous and layered, offering aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, violet, graphite, and subtle spice, often with a polished, almost perfumed character that is classic Pomerol. On the palate, it is usually supple and enveloping, with finely textured tannins, ripe dark fruit, mineral nuance, and a long, harmonious finish. The 2015 vintage is widely regarded as a strong year in Bordeaux, suggesting excellent ageing potential; this wine should continue to develop complexity over many years, gaining more truffle, cedar, and earthy depth with time.

This is a natural match for dishes with depth and richness, such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom risotto, or truffle dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if opening young, to allow the aromas and structure to fully open up.
